Alex and Diana met at a club called Emerald City in NY. They loved experiencing the beauty of the city and the vibrant life within it. Alex always had a passion for photography and Diana loved being in front of the camera, and eventually Alex bought his first camera, a Canon T-150, to start capturing these moments. One day they decided to take their passion for people and photography to start their own business. This journey has taken their marriage to a whole new level, and they bring out the best in each other which is an amazing advantage to have in any business. One behind the lens dreaming up a vision while the other begins organizing and executing to ensure details aren’t missed. Their partnership makes them an unstoppable team, and are always ready to help make your memories last a lifetime.

My name is Alex Maranon, a wedding, event, and commercial photographer in the DMV area living in Northern Virginia. Originally a native New Yorker, my passion for photography started as a kid spending my summers with my family in Ecuador. I developed a passion for finding beauty in every aspect of life, whether it was the snowcapped Andes Mountains or the bustling streets of Manhattan. I now share that passion with my wife and business partner, Diana, who has been instrumental in the development of our brand.
I believe photography is a window into the small moments of life that one often overlooks. Be it your wedding day, special event, or headshot, I love sharing my vision with our customers and capturing those memories.
We are available in the immediate DC, Maryland, or Virginia area, as well as destination weddings.

I’m Diana Maranon, on scene assisting with lighting and posing and behind the scenes with marketing. I’m there every step of the way during your session to make sure your special day is everything you envision.
I’m from Queens, NY and modeling in the city was my introduction to the photography world. I enjoy connecting with clients, working closely with you to build a timeline and learn more about your vision for your special day!
Outside of photography, I enjoy traveling, exploring new restaurants, dancing and a good TV series with my husband and two sons!
